Contextualized education that prepares you for a high paying job in the energy, pharmaceutical, and water treatment sectors.
SBCC's Energy Pathway Program (EPP) will start its next Process Technology cohort at Cerritos College this Fall/Winter. Classes officially begin in January 2014 and are offered at Cerritos College Monday-Friday from approximately 5pm-10pm. Those who need to improve their basic skills before beginning the cohort will complete online coursework November-December 2013.
SBCC works in partnership with Cerritos College and industry partners such as Phillips 66, ExxonMobil, Grifols, United Steelworkers Union, local sanitation districts and water treatment plants, and LA County Supervisor Don Knabe. EPP provides a one year training program and 18 unit Certificate of Completion at Cerritos College that prepares individuals for careers in process technology, with all coursework aligned with an ongoing AS-to-BS degree sequence in engineering for students interested in pursuing further education.
